2. Sensitive Data Usage (Contacts & Call Logs)

WedSetGo includes features designed to automate and simplify guest list management. These features require access to sensitive device information:

Smart Scan (Call Log Access):

Our "Smart Scan" feature uses the READ_CALL_LOG permission to analyze call frequency and suggest frequent contacts for your wedding guest list. This process is entirely ephemeral and happens strictly on your device.

  • We do not store your call logs.
  • We do not transmit call log data to our servers.
  • We do not share call log information with any third parties.

Contacts Access: With your permission, we access your contacts to allow you to easily import guests into your wedding list. Like call logs, this data is used to populate your local list and is not used for any other purpose.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

  • Provide and maintain the application's core functionality.
  • Synchronize your planning data across your devices via secure cloud backup.
  • Facilitate collaboration between you and your invited partners or planners.
  • Improve our services based on anonymous usage patterns.

We implement industry-standard security measures, including end-to-end encryption and secure Firebase cloud hosting, to protect your data from unauthorized access or disclosure.
