We believe in providing you full control over your data. If you wish to delete your WedSetGo account and all associated planning data (guest lists, budgets, tasks, etc.), you can follow the instructions below.
1. How to Delete Your Account
There are two ways to request account deletion:
Open the WedSetGo app on your device, navigate to the Settings or Profile section, and select Delete Account. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm deletion.
If you no longer have the app installed or cannot access your account, please email us at support@wedsetgo.app from the email address associated with your account.
Please use the subject: Account Deletion Request - [Your Name]
2. What Data is Deleted?
Upon processing your deletion request, the following information will be permanently removed from our servers:
- Your profile information (Name, Email, Profile Picture).
- All wedding planning data (Guest lists, RSVP statuses, Budgets, Expenses).
- All collaborative access shared with partners or helpers.
- Your device synchronization history.
Note: Once deleted, this data cannot be recovered. Please ensure you have exported any necessary information before proceeding.
3. Processing Time
In-app deletion requests are processed immediately. Email requests are typically processed within 5-7 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been completely purged from our systems.
